Our Club

The TRANSWAY BASKETBALL CLUB is a non-profit organization that is widely recognized as one of the finest in the country. Founded by Doug Harrison and assisted by Brian Humes in 1979, Transway teams have gone onto to win a total of 103 Provincial Championships in the last 40 years, over 300 tournaments and producing many top high school, university and national players. In addition to that, Transway has the most wins for any basketball club in Ontario, and is widely recognized as Ontario’s premier all girls’ organization in basketball.

At TRANSWAY we develop players from a very young age giving beginners a sound foundation and a very strong challenge to the more advanced players. It has been very successful in helping players become better and more disciplined athletes.

Our club is based out of Hamilton, Ontario.  Our experienced staff have been selected because they love the game and can effectively teach it. The core of the coaches for Transway are all talented coaches all of whom have won multiple Provincial Championships with TRANSWAY teams.
